 The newest destroyer, which was built by Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai, is the third of four "Visakhapatnam" class destroyers that the Indian Navy has officially inducted. The other two were designed in-house by the Warship Design Bureau.

According to the ministry, the money would be used to partially offset state budgetary expenses in Ukraine that are not related to security or defense, such as pension payments. "International financial assistance is a significant contribution to maintaining the financial and economic stability of Ukraine and allows us to ensure priority social expenditures during the war," Serhiy Marchenko, the finance minister, said.
